How and where we assess
In person or remotely, whichever suits you best
We're based in Northampton, but we're not limited to one area. We work with children, young people and adults across the UK, and we'll agree the most suitable format with you before anything is booked.
In-person assessments
Face-to-face assessments can be arranged where practical and clinically appropriate. What's possible depends on your location and circumstances, so we'll talk it through with you when you enquire.
Remote assessments
Secure video appointments let you take part from home, wherever you live in the UK. Many people find this more comfortable, and it means no travel.
The right format depends on the individual and the type of assessment. We'll always recommend what is clinically appropriate for you.
Support for all ages
Whoever you're seeking answers for, we're here to help
Assessments for children
Parents and carers often contact us when a child is finding school, friendships or everyday routines harder than expected. An assessment helps you understand your child's individual profile — their strengths as well as their challenges.
- Difficulty focusing or sitting still
- Challenges with friendships
- Strong reactions to sensory input
- Struggles with change or transitions
Assessments for young people
The teenage years bring new demands — exams, independence, relationships. If a young person is struggling to keep up, organise themselves or feel understood, an assessment can bring clarity and open the door to the right support at school, college and home.
- Disorganisation and missed deadlines
- Feeling different from peers
- Emotional ups and downs
- Exhaustion from "masking"
Assessments for adults
Many adults reach adulthood without ever being assessed, having developed their own ways to cope. An adult assessment can provide long-sought answers, support workplace adjustments, and help you better understand your own experiences.
- Trouble staying focused at work
- Procrastination and overwhelm
- Social situations feel draining
- A lifelong sense of being "different"

Answers to the questions we hear most
Can't find what you're looking for? Our team is happy to talk you through the process.
Do I need a GP referral?
No. You're welcome to self-refer. You don't need a GP referral to enquire about or book an assessment with us. We'll advise on any relevant considerations when we contact you.
Can adults be assessed?
Yes. We assess adults of all ages for both ADHD and autism. Many adults reach adulthood without a formal assessment, and an adult assessment can bring long-sought clarity.
Do you offer in-person and remote assessments?
Yes, we offer both. Remote assessments take place by secure video, so you can take part from home. In-person assessments can be arranged where practical and clinically appropriate. We'll talk through which format suits you best when we respond to your enquiry.
Do you only work with people in Northampton?
No. We're based in Northampton, but we're not limited to one area and work with clients across the UK. Remote assessments are available wherever you live, and we'll discuss in-person options based on your location.
Will I receive a written report?
Yes. Following your assessment you'll receive a written report setting out the findings, the clinical reasoning and any recommendations.
How do I get started?
Submit an enquiry through our Book an Assessment page. A member of our team will review it and contact you within one business day to discuss next steps. There's no commitment at the enquiry stage.
Ready to understand what comes next?
If you're considering an ADHD or autism assessment for yourself or someone you support, we'll help you understand the process and your options — with no commitment.
